During our staycation at the Dusit Thani Dubai, we were treated to a sumptuous Friday Brunch at the 24th floor.
We were offered refreshments as soon as we got off the elevators. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They showed us our reserved table over at Pax – Italian restaurant.
As I was walking through this elegant pathway, I knew instantly that I made the biggest fashion faux pas — and I am not a fashion blogger but I knew — I was underdressed! Walking past each table with guests in full makeup and superbly dressed, I tried very hard to not be noticeable — all 5 feet and 9 inches of me in shirt, shorts and flip-flops. Unfortunately, walking with a toddler in tow makes this task impossible.
Tip: dress appropriately!! I thought people would be…you know, casual. I guess I was too casual that day!
Anyhoo, moving on ..
Friday Brunch includes dishes from the 3 main restaurants in Dusit Thani Dubai – Pax, Benjarong and The Californian – so you can be assured that they have the best of everything.
There were lots of seafood choices. Arabic, Thai, Italian and American dishes were also served.
Blake just kept coming back to the dessert station. I don’t blame her!
Too bad I had a spa appointment later that day that I had to really pace myself down.
The food was exceptional, the service superb, the ambience is lovely with amazing views of Burj Khalifa and Sheik Zayed Road. And best part of all, it is reasonably priced. They have Thai dancers at the atrium to entertain guests every few minutes too!
I highly recommend Dusit Thani Dubai for your staycations or even just for the Friday Brunch. You won’t regret it!
