I’m so behind my US trip posts and I want to take a break from it. I mean, we just got back from Switzerland a few weeks ago. It deserves some blog exposure, right?
Anyhoo, here are some photos from our first day.
After getting our rented van at the airport, we went for a stroll by Zürich Lake. There was a man making soap bubbles. Huge soap bubbles!
I was mesmerized. After a few minutes, we found a food stall. Excited to have my very first street food in Switzerland, we bought some Bratwurst mit Bürli for CHF 7.70
We decided to go back home after our quick bite. It started to rain and to be honest, I was already drained. Our home base was in Winterthur, which is 30 minutes away from Zürich. We had a sumptuous home cooked dinner and then went to bed while Mr. A went to the airport again to pick up his mom.
Day two was spent in Rheinfalls. Blog post to follow!!
Hey there! I’m a mom of two who loves to crochet. Balancing work and motherhood is crazy, but I handle it with love and humor. With my eldest entering her tween years, the chaos just got a whole lot more interesting!
I’m fueled by coffee and dream of working from home. When I need to chill, I turn to my trusty essential oils. They’re my secret weapon for staying sane in the madness.
Join me for mom life, crochet, and my journey to work from home and retire before life passes me by.
