It’s my turn to host the carnival again!
I picked this topic because a lot of TV series just ended a few weeks back and there were instances that I “got spoiled”.
Don’t get me wrong. I believe that as soon as it’s aired, everything is fair game. Nobody is expected to make allowances for people who are waiting for the “boxed set” of 24 to be released before watching the whole thing! But I also believe that this is only true for blogs and news/media.
That is why every season end, I would cease my blog hopping. I don’t browse as much because I do not want to read about the results before watching the episode. My main beef is when people would post results in social networking sites like facebook or twitter.
Other people should be considerate enough to limit the discussion in certain sites like forums and blogs. I made an effort to avoid these venues so please don’t flood my news feed. We live in different timezones people! (Just imagine my disappointment when David A tweeted that Siobhan Magnus was booted out of AI!)
Lesson learned, avoid twitter. But what do I do when other people post results on facebook too?? 🙁
I also distinctly remember an incident way back when Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (the book) was launched. Somebody from a forum spilled that Dumbledore died in the book. That really pissed a lot of Harry Potter (the movie) fans! According to them, they were browsing the topic to be somehow updated BUT they did not want the plot to be ruined for them.
I really really think people should be more careful with what they post online (or even say in real life), just because you know doesn’t mean everyone else needs to know.
Here’s what our friends in Team Carnival has to say about the topic:
See you next week for another round of Carnival Fun!

Hey there! I’m a mom of two who loves to crochet. Balancing work and motherhood is crazy, but I handle it with love and humor. With my eldest entering her tween years, the chaos just got a whole lot more interesting!
I’m fueled by coffee and dream of working from home. When I need to chill, I turn to my trusty essential oils. They’re my secret weapon for staying sane in the madness.
Join me for mom life, crochet, and my journey to work from home and retire before life passes me by.

Hi Aryan! Thanks for commenting.
I’m sure there are other people like me who feels the same way, LOL.
Imagine yourself standing in a loooonggg queue at the cinema. Braving the crowd just to watch your favorite movie. Then as soon as the door opens, one guy who was able to watch the same movie shouts out that the male lead is going to die in the end.
Disappointing ain’t it? We just have to be more careful and considerate, that’s all.
