It’s August!!
How’s your year so far? It’s been a rollercoaster for me…as usual!
Here’s what’s up in
August 2017 Currently
…feeling anxious. Just a couple more weeks and we’re ready to pop! I still have yet to complete my list for baby 2. There’s still a lot to do and buy in preparation for Race Car’s arrival. Time to hustle while I still can!
…loving every kick and movement. Race Car has been moving a lot lately and it’s magical. I don’t remember B being this active. Hopefully this is not an indication of how active Race Car would be! Otherwise, I wouldn’t be able to keep up.
…thinking of alternative names for Race Car. We already decided on a boy’s name 6 years ago (when I first got pregnant) but I’m having second thoughts. We’ll see how this goes.
…enjoying the fruit of our tree! We just harvested jackfruit from the backyard. If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you’ve probably seen the Turon de Langka and Binignit. For sure this fruit will last till end of month!!
…starting to feel guilty about a lot of things.
I’m constantly tired and sleepy that I feel that I don’t have enough time and patience for B. I feel so heavy that I don’t really want to do a lot of traveling and meet people … sorry friends!! I don’t like the commute. And don’t get me started about Manila traffic. My only consolation is that my brother would act as my driver during weekends! Also, thank God for Uber/Grab!! It just makes life easier when brother dear is not available.
I also feel guilty for not being active on the blog and social media lately. I feel so drained. (and the internet is so slow!!) This blog has been a constant for me. I’m sure I’ll bounce back. When? I really can’t say. So please bear with me?
What’s up with you lately?
Hey there! I’m a mom of two who loves to crochet. Balancing work and motherhood is crazy, but I handle it with love and humor. With my eldest entering her tween years, the chaos just got a whole lot more interesting!
I’m fueled by coffee and dream of working from home. When I need to chill, I turn to my trusty essential oils. They’re my secret weapon for staying sane in the madness.
Join me for mom life, crochet, and my journey to work from home and retire before life passes me by.
