FlipOut Dubai is the name of the newest place in Dubai, where one can just FlipOut and have fun.
Having been here in Dubai for more than 16 years, there are some things/activities that are no longer enjoyable. It’s a good thing that we heard about FlipOut Dubai in the radio. We immediately planned to go as soon as we heard the advertisement.
I visited their website once and after seeing their gallery, we couldn’t be more excited. The rates are quite affordable starting from 70 AED for adults for the first hour and 50 AED for every succeeding hour. What made it more awesome is that they are available on the Entertainer app. That’s buy one get one free!

It was decided that we go on a Thursday morning because 1- we had other plans for the rest of the day all the way through weekend, and 2 – no traffic!
Location
We don’t usually go to that side of Dubai so we spent about half an hour trying to search for the place. Yeah, we didn’t have a navigation system but we got there eventually.
Parking in FlipOut Dubai is not a problem because there is a complementary valet parking.
First time visitors have to register and agree to the terms and conditions of the attraction. After that, just pay for the session that you want. Their staff are very courteous and accommodating.
Archery Tag
Trampoline or dodge ball is not something that anyone one would want to see someone my age do. So we went for the archery tag. We paid for an hour session, used the Entertainer app. Ended up paying only 70 AED for 2 person.
We spend a few minutes familiarizing ourselves how to use a bow and started shooting at stationary targets. The attendant told us that we were good for a first timer. I think he’s just being nice. Were given a short briefing on how to hold the bow how to reload the arrow and how to shoot.
We then headed off to the main event. They have to scene for the archery tag, one nature/forest themed and the other a more urban setting.
After putting on our safety gear, we were then told the mechanics of the game. After 10 minutes of playing Robin Hood, the attendant joined us and played against us. He was so good, that we got hit even when we are hiding. He shoots like a pro as if every 5 minutes of adrenaline-pumping-arrow-shootout we have to take a break to catch our breath. It may look easy, but believe me it’s not. It’s quite a workout that we didn’t even manage to finish the 60 minutes that we paid for. After just 40 minutes we had to call it quits and just roam around to see what else the place have to offer.
The upper deck is dedicated to smaller kids or toddlers. They also have a coffee shop, lockers and shower area.
