I was having a bad day at work (which, honestly, has been happening frequently). Good that we only work till 3 pm, I had a moment to breathe and de-stress. Shopping really helps, no? Even if it’s just “window shopping”, it let’s me refocus my energy. While browsing cheap clothes in Max, I was approached by a lovely lady from Rimmel and asked if I want a makeover. I was having a hard time and the idea of someone making me pretty sounded like a good idea, so I said yes!
Not sure what I wanted done because as I said, I was having a hard time and still a little pissed off so I just left it up to the pretty Alessia to do her magic on me.
She did not put on a lot of products on me because she said I have nice skin and my eyebrows just need some filling in. A little blush and mascara plus a nice nude lipstick for a simple day look. Very quick and easy for moms on the go like me!
She used Scandal Eyes Rockin’ Curves mascara which has a broken heart-shaped brush. Alessia said that this is a new product (maybe in the UAE because we’re always late! LOL) and that with a simple twist and turn of the brush, you can get the maximum curve and volume of your lashes. Here’s a photo for reference:
Blurry photo courtesy of my iPhone. LOL! No clumps. Here’s a vain photo of me after the makeover. What do you think?
Purchase is optional but I opted to get this box because I’m a sucker for discounts 😀
I need an eyeliner anyway so I bought this set. It doesn’t have the same Scandal Eyes Rockin’ Curve but Scandal Eyes Retro Glam has an hourglass shaped brush which gives a bold, wide-eyed, false lash look. I have yet to try it on (I will update you on this one, most probably on Instagram so follow me there!)
I’m so excited for this one, Exaggerate Liquid Eye Liner. It’s highly pigmented with maximum control applicator for a bold eye look.
If only I could do the perfect cat eye flick!
And that’s it! Happy weekend, guys!
Hey there! I’m a mom of two who loves to crochet. Balancing work and motherhood is crazy, but I handle it with love and humor. With my eldest entering her tween years, the chaos just got a whole lot more interesting!
I’m fueled by coffee and dream of working from home. When I need to chill, I turn to my trusty essential oils. They’re my secret weapon for staying sane in the madness.
Join me for mom life, crochet, and my journey to work from home and retire before life passes me by.
