Whoa! Has it really been almost a week since my last post? I did not mean to abandon this blog it’s just that I’ve been so busy with work and B’s health and mine too. I’m still recovering from a cold … I can’t believe that my body is so sensitive nowadays. I get sick so easily, I hate it. Must be signs of aging, no? 😀
Anyhow, I just want to share with you this place that we went to during the Eid break. It’s called Green Mubazzarah in Al Ain. It’s just at the bottom of Jebel Hafeet. The term green was probably coined because of all the greens! It’s such a nice place to just sit and tune out.
It was almost sundown when we arrived and there were a lot of people around. The place is actually packed but not overly crowded. I liked it that way.
For a while there, I was transported to another place. I couldn’t believe that I’m still in the UAE. I mean, living here for 12 years all I see is either sand, the beach or tall, massive buildings! To see nature like this is such a refreshing sight. Beats going to the mall … maybe that’s just me?
I loved soaking my feet on the hot spring. Gave me relief from all the walking we did before.
We stayed on this spot for a long time just chatting while the rest of the group did their own stuff. The kids tried to climb up the mountain, the parents shouting from below while preparing our food. HAHA!
Green Mubazzarah has swimming pools, play areas, chalets for rent, camping sites and even horses for rent! When the weather is good, you can actually stay here for a week and just chill. LOL
I feel so fulfilled having done this trip. I can now say that I have been to Al Ain. I have been up Jebel Hafeet and I’ve seen Green Mubazzarah.
And yes, I have been to all 7 Emirates. YAY for me!
Hey there! I’m a mom of two who loves to crochet. Balancing work and motherhood is crazy, but I handle it with love and humor. With my eldest entering her tween years, the chaos just got a whole lot more interesting!
I’m fueled by coffee and dream of working from home. When I need to chill, I turn to my trusty essential oils. They’re my secret weapon for staying sane in the madness.
Join me for mom life, crochet, and my journey to work from home and retire before life passes me by.
