Kimchikin Al Ghurair
A few days after our quick vacation in the Philippines, we were invited to try Kimchikin in their newest branch in Al Ghurair Centre. The place is cozy with contemporary, minimalistic design. A big TV plays Kpop music videos on the background. Being a Kpop fan, my niece would have loved it here but alas! she isn’t here and I was at a loss. I had no idea what I was watching. LOL.
What we ordered
Kimchikin has been around for awhile now. In fact, there’s a branch near our house but we have never tried it out. We’re just so used to going to the regular fast food that we were actually missing out on something good!
We ordered a few items from their menu:
- Zingy Wings with Soy Garlic Sauce (AED 16)
- Bibimbap Rice (AED 35)
- Sewoo Noodles (AED 17)
- Yangnyum Chicken (boneless) (AED 20)
- French Fries (AED 6)
The boneless salt and pepper chicken is for Blake who doesn’t really like experimenting on food. I got the Bibimbap Rice bowl which can be easily shared by two light eaters! Alvin, who is keen on trying something else, got the Sewoo Noodles. It’s surprisingly good! All of that for less than a hundred dirham – what a steal!
The Zingy Wings is a perfect win! Crunchy and very flavourful. It is safe to say that I found my new favorite chicken wings place. In fact, I had a craving a week after that visit that we ordered delivery for the very first time!
I got Bulgogi Rice and Zingy Wings for delivery. Next on my list to order would be Pineapple Fried Rice because I’m crazy on pineapples right now.

Hey there! I’m a mom of two who loves to crochet. Balancing work and motherhood is crazy, but I handle it with love and humor. With my eldest entering her tween years, the chaos just got a whole lot more interesting!
I’m fueled by coffee and dream of working from home. When I need to chill, I turn to my trusty essential oils. They’re my secret weapon for staying sane in the madness.
Join me for mom life, crochet, and my journey to work from home and retire before life passes me by.
