[This is part of our AB&Me Travels : US Trip last March 2015. I am in Dubai at the time of this writing]
Red Roof Inn – San Diego
11.03.15
After a full day at San Diego Zoo, we checked in at Red Roof Inn Pacific Beach/SeaWorld Area, San Diego.
The sister has booked everything online prior to our San Diego trip so check in was a breeze.
We got the room with double queen beds which was good enough. We just needed a place to sleep for the night so we didn’t need anything fancier than this.
The bathroom was clean and spacious. They had all the basic necessities and even a hair dryer.
They have free wi-fi, breakfast, laundry service and parking space (although very limited). The room has a coffee maker, flat screen TV, mini fridge, iron and ironing boards.
The property is about 10 minutes away from San Diego‘s most popular attractions – including San Diego Sea World. There’s a 7 – 11 convenience store just beside the property if you need to get some supplies.
My only problem is that there was something wrong with our door. It wouldn’t lock! We informed the front desk but they didn’t have a maintenance guy around since it was already late. They were very apologetic about the whole situation but it didn’t really solve the issue. We had to sleep with a chair jammed under the doorknob, just like in the movies. 😛
Overall experience was good. I would recommend staying at Red Roof Inn especially if you only need a place to stay for the night.
We checked out early since we still have a long day ahead. [Day 2 San Diego]

Hey there! I’m a mom of two who loves to crochet. Balancing work and motherhood is crazy, but I handle it with love and humor. With my eldest entering her tween years, the chaos just got a whole lot more interesting!
I’m fueled by coffee and dream of working from home. When I need to chill, I turn to my trusty essential oils. They’re my secret weapon for staying sane in the madness.
Join me for mom life, crochet, and my journey to work from home and retire before life passes me by.
