Hi Guys!
Finally hopping on here just to give you a quick overdue update. My last post was some time in November while I was still in the Philippines.
Back in the Sandpit
We flew back to Dubai in February and it was just one thing after the other from then on.
Our nanny got so sick that she suffered a mild stroke. This meant I couldn’t start work even if I want to. We can’t leave our kids with her since her health is still unstable. (She’s getting better now but we’re still unsure if we can entrust the kids with her.) On top of that, the kids and I got sick as well. Change of weather … we don’t know. But all the unexpected medical expenses have put a big dent in our budget.
Anyway, we believe things will work out eventually. We just need to hang on just a little bit more. So now, I am still a Stay at Home Mom. Enjoying every minute of it — scratch that… enjoying it most of the time. The picture below describes my day:
But oh, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I’m glad that I get to spend time with Blake, assuring her that she’s still my princess and teaching her life skills. I also love that I’m experiencing a lot of Adam’s firsts. I missed a lot of Blake’s milestones because I was at work. This time it’s different. I’m experiencing everything, from both my kids.
Blake loves his little brother so much that she wants to marry him someday! Bless her heart.
Back to Blogging?
As for this blog, I still don’t know if I can commit to blogging full time like before. I just started writing this post on impulse because I keep thinking I should update our page first before I do anything.
We need a new profile photo since we are now a family of 4.Update “about me” section- Clean up categories
- Backend housecleaning
Then again, I figured I won’t be blogging for a looooong time if I wait till I get these done so here I am. Writing a half-baked update for you. Hopefully, I get my mojo back soon!
Thanks for sticking around!
Hey there! I’m a mom of two who loves to crochet. Balancing work and motherhood is crazy, but I handle it with love and humor. With my eldest entering her tween years, the chaos just got a whole lot more interesting!
I’m fueled by coffee and dream of working from home. When I need to chill, I turn to my trusty essential oils. They’re my secret weapon for staying sane in the madness.
Join me for mom life, crochet, and my journey to work from home and retire before life passes me by.
We would love to hear what you think! Leave us a message:
