My colleagues were discussing something when one of them picked up my sunglasses and asked what brand it is. I said it’s from an online site and it’s not expensive. He looked at me weirdly. See, I know that they like branded stuff so maybe I replied “too” defensively. 😀
He said that it looks good but why was I wearing cheap glasses?
Well, here’s my reply:
I don’t own expensive stuff because I end up either sitting on them or B would play with it and eventually either one of us loses it. If I only have cheap accessories, then it won’t be too hard when I lose or break it. Right?
Is it just me or does this make sense to you?
Hey there! I’m a mom of two who loves to crochet. Balancing work and motherhood is crazy, but I handle it with love and humor. With my eldest entering her tween years, the chaos just got a whole lot more interesting!
I’m fueled by coffee and dream of working from home. When I need to chill, I turn to my trusty essential oils. They’re my secret weapon for staying sane in the madness.
Join me for mom life, crochet, and my journey to work from home and retire before life passes me by.

i don’t think that it is mandatory to have expensive stuff after all it will not define who you are 🙂

Same goes for me. I buy my shades from Splash, and only when there’s a sale. For me, anything higher than 20 riyals is pricey for a pair of shades.

Yey! Good to know I am not the only one!! I also set a limit on my purchases.
