Princess Blake really cracks me up. Like what happened the yesterday. I was busy scheduling posts while she was in the living room, playing. I can hear her talking by herself — which she does a lot, by the way! Then she went inside the room and kept bugging me to come with her.
B: Mommy, come inside!! inside!! (she means “outside” … she still gets in/out/up mixed up)
Me: Why? I’m working baby …
B: Mommy, puhhhhleeesss come inside!
Of course, mommy duties first. I stood up and followed her to the living room.
B: Mommy, look. Blakey “kalat“. So many paper on the floor! (She’s telling me that she’s made a mess … she likes to glue paper on paper, her version of crafting.)
Me: Oh no!! What are we going to do?
B: Clean up mommy.
Me: Yes. Correct, we have to clean up. Do you want to clean up now?
B: Mommy, you clean up! (then she smiled … ) 😛
She has this thing where she talks and we end up just agreeing with her. Like for example:
B: Mommy, Blakey is “vewy” “vewy” hungry.
Me: You’re hungry? Do you want a sandwich?
B: Yes, I want Choco Milk. Thank you mommy.
What? Where did that come from? 😀 😀
Hey there! I’m a mom of two who loves to crochet. Balancing work and motherhood is crazy, but I handle it with love and humor. With my eldest entering her tween years, the chaos just got a whole lot more interesting!
I’m fueled by coffee and dream of working from home. When I need to chill, I turn to my trusty essential oils. They’re my secret weapon for staying sane in the madness.
Join me for mom life, crochet, and my journey to work from home and retire before life passes me by.
